Shaylyn Davis has been dancing at DNE in North Chelmsford, MA for 13 years. She started at age 3 with ballet, tap and jazz and in her second year started Irish Step. She dances under the wonderful Miss. Christine Morrison (4 on the Floor /Tri). For 4 years Shaylyn belonged to the DNE Celtic Company where she entertained patients at local hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Her picture was also featured on the front page of the Boston Herald when they performed at the Icons Irish Festival in Canton MA. Shaylyn and the DNE Celtic Company also performed at the ALS benefit in Boston hosted by Curt Schilling; where she cheerfully gave him a “high five”. For the past 5 years Shaylyn has been an assistant teacher at DNE in both the Hard and Soft Shoe classes, all while maintaining Honor Roll status at Alvirne High School.
