Office Info

Office Hours

Our regular office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The office is closed on weekends as well as at times when the doctor and staff are attending continuing education programs.

Our Appointment Policy

Patients are seen by appointment only. Please call in advance so that we may reserve a time for you. The office telephone number is 889-1100. We make every effort to be on time for our patients, and we ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately. If possible, please give us 24-hours notice. This courtesy on your part makes it possible for us to give your appointment to another patient.

Most people undergoing orthodontic treatment have important obligations during the day. During active orthodontic treatment, we will need to see you regularly. Some of these appointments may conflict with work or school.

We have created a patient care schedule that, over the entire course of treatment, works most efficiently for you. Because we respect your valuable time, we do our very best to stay “on time.” Your prompt arrival for your appointment will enable us to utilize all the time we have reserved for you for adjustment, instructions and questions. Please plan to arrive five minutes prior to your regularly scheduled appointment to allow sufficient time to brush your teeth before being seated.

Any appointment over 20 minutes in length will be scheduled during the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. so that we may accommodate the shorter appointments after school. Patients who miss their regularly scheduled appointments may have to make their next appointment during school hours.

Emergency Care

We reserve a limited amount of time each day so that emergency patients may be scheduled quickly. If you have a problem requiring emergency treatment, please call us as early in the day as possible.

Fees and Payment Policy

In effort to keep orthodontic fees down while maintaining the highest level of professional care, we have established our financial policy as follows:

  • If full payment is made at the onset of treatment, we will offer a fee discount. If you have insurance, we will offer a discount for payment of your portion of the fee that will not be covered by insurance.
  • To fit the needs of our patients, a financial arrangement can be made to extend your payments over a period of months following an appropriate down payment.
  • For your convenience, we accept Visa and MasterCard.

In cases of serious delinquency, treatment will be discontinued, although we will make every effort to accommodate our patients with temporary difficulties.

Insurance

If you have insurance, we will help you determine the coverage you have available. We ask that you assign your insurance benefit to us. The balance will be arranged for you to pay as listed above.

Professional care is provided to you, our patient, and not to an insurance company. Thus, the insurance company is responsible to the patient and the patient is responsible to the doctor. We will help in every way we can in filing your claim and handling insurance questions for our office on your behalf.
